Asymmetrical balance: One axis of the image is larger than the other. Obviously.

Chairoscuro lighting: The black and white shading of the light emphasizes the image of Jesus smoking.

Figure-Ground: The focus is not on the man in the background. Rather, it is the shiny head in the foreground.

Gestalt - continuation: The empty parking lot spaces show continuation (and proximity)

Perspective - horizon line: The viewer's eye level is looking straight down the continuing tracks.

Sign - iconic: The sign resembles a Zamboni crossing area. It is placed next to Notre Dame's ice rink, where Zamboni's are operated.

Code - displaced: The "Pantera" banner represents the guitarist's band. The banner illustrates the relationship between the guitarist and the band.





Cool colors: The dark blue paint and black machine parts of the Zamboni represent cool colors.

Warm colors: The "peace" explosion shows all kinds of warm colors.

Apparent movement: I am stationary in this picture, but the illusion of me setting the can down or raising it up to drink is present.
